BREAKING: Liberals Now Saying Trump Has THIS Brain Disease- Here’s What We Know

dementia

Trump Derangement Syndrome has reached its crescendo. A columnist for Deadspin is openly speculating that President Donald Trump is suffering from dementia. Their evidence? Tweets, of course!

Deadspin writer Ashley Feinberg makes this outrageous assertion without the benefit of an actual expert medical opinion. Her authority in making this argument comes from what appears to be five minutes worth of Google searches for dementia symptoms. She also may have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express when she wrote the column. So obviously, she knows what she’s talking about.

The story, entitled “What Would It Look Like, Hypothetically, If A Public Figure Were Suffering The Symptoms Of Dementia?” never actually accuses Trump of suffering from dementia. There is, however, plenty of sarcastic comparisons and implications. They also included the image you see above, because, obviously, they don’t expect readers will quite get their next level snark.

Most of Feinberg’s argument involves a rehash of stories involving Ronald Reagan’s battle with Alzheimer’s. She then points out, in rather underhanded fashion, that Donald Trump’s father suffered from the disease as well. She doesn’t actually have the courage to accuse Trump of dementia outright, but she strongly implies it might be happening.

After pointing out Reagan’s dementia, she says this.

I’m sure that Donald Trump, whose father also suffered from Alzheimer’s, can relate.

She then includes the following signs of dementia, as provided by the internet. They include these symptoms, which have never applied to herself or any of us.

Cognitive Changes

  1. Memory Loss
  2. Difficulty communicating or finding words
  3. Difficulty reasoning or problem solving
  4. Difficulty with planning or organizing
  5. Difficulty with coordination and motor functions

Psychological Changes

  1. Depression
  2. Anxiety
  3. Inappropriate behavior
  4. Paranoia
  5. Agitation
  6. Hallucinations

She then provides a series of Trump tweets that, in her reasoning, matches each of these symptoms. The logic, in her mind, is bulletproof.

Devoid of actual evidence, Feinberg turns on the snark. Because, you know, dementia is hilarious. She mocks Trump’s behavior thusly.

It certainly is a relief to have a president capable of withstanding the constant, strenuous mental and emotional pressures of the job.

After making a rather incoherent argument that the President is suffering from dementia, she jokes.

What a strange and wholly unconnected set of events!

Remember, Feinberg is a senior reporter providing investigative stories.

I think it is safe to say the Edward R. Morrow Award will not be calling Feinberg anytime soon.
