BREAKING VIDEO: Sean Hannity’s Accuser Backs Off Of Sexual Harassment Claims

Just days after Bill O’Reilly was ousted, an accuser came forward accusing Sean Hannity of sexual harassment.  The accuser has a history. She has a keen interest in “getting in the news.” No sooner had Hannity’s accuser made the accusations, however, she backed off of them. Watch the video below and read the exchange.

Just as the fallout surrounding Bill O’Reilly‘s sudden ouster from Fox News began to fade from the media spotlight, another woman came forward with new allegations against the network’s biggest remaining star, Sean Hannity. Hannity, however, was quick to fight back against the sexual harassment allegation.

Debbie Schlussel is a former Sean Hannity guest and Fox News contributor. On Friday, she appeared on Today’s Pat Campbell Show, claiming that while she was with Hannity in Detroit, he repeatedly invited her to his hotel room. When she declined the invitation, she claims, he didn’t have her back on his show.  This sounds awfully similar to a story told by one of O’Reilly’s accusers.

Schlussel did not have an exact date for when the alleged incident occurred. By Sunday evening, the allegations had already made their way around the internet, including being picked up by several mainstream media outlets. Of course, the mainstream media would love nothing more than to take down all conservative talk show hosts. No one was ever able to verify if the two ever met up in Detroit.

“He tried to get me to go back to the hotel after the show after he and his executive producer Bill Shine treated me horribly,” she said on the radio program.

“I got a really weird feeling about the whole thing,” she said. Schlussel, an attorney and political commentator, followed up her interview with the radio station with the following tweet. A clear sign Schlussel is trying to gain attention from her claim.

The accuser backtracks

This morning Silence Is Consent has learned, in an interview with LawNewz.com on Monday morning, Schlussel is denying that she was ever sexually harassed by Sean Hannity. While Schlussel stands by her description of the incident, Schlussel told us that she doesn’t believe what happened between the two amounted to sexual harassment by any legal definition.

“I would never accuse him of that. Sexual harassment has a special meaning under the law, and I would never accuse him of that,” Schlussel, an attorney herself, said. Schlussel said the interaction happened in the early 2000’s when Hannity was in Detroit taping a show.

“He tried to get me to go back to the hotel after the show after he and his executive producer Bill Shine treated me horribly,” she went on to, make many accusations against Sean Hannity on the radio program (enclosed video)  Schlussel later clarified that it wasn’t his hotel room, but rather his hotel. She told LawNewz.com that she did go on the show following the incident, but after that was “banned from Fox News.” Schlussel must have thought she could kill two birds with one stone; by name-dropping and smearing one of the biggest names in Television.

“I never thought I was sexually harassed by Sean Hannity, I thought he was weird and creepy not someone I liked,” Schlussel said.

Could it be Debbie Sclussel is fessing up to having fabricated the whole thing because following the radio interview on Friday, Hannity issued a strongly worded statement denying Schlussel’s claims saying he plans to take legal action against Schlussel for possible libel.

Here is Sean Hannity’s statement on the accusations.

“LET ME BE CLEAR THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual ARE 100% false and a complete fabrication. This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.

The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with. This individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary, including making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous political rhetoric.

My patience with this individual is over. I have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual. In this fiercely divided and vindictive political climate I will no longer allow slander and lies about me to go unchallenged, as I see a coordinated effort afoot to now silence those with conservative views. I will fight every single lie about me by all legal means available to me as an American.”

Here is the video.

I am glad to hear Sean Hannity would be taking legal action against a smear campaign like this one.
