President Elect Donald Trump and Vice President Elect Mike Pence arrived in Washington, D.C. today, and performed their first ceremonial duty. The two laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns, also known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, at Arlington National Cemetery.

Both the Trump and Pence families were on hand to witness the laying of the wreath. By tradition, it is one of the first duties an incoming President takes on.
