As if the President didn’t have enough on his plate, what with running the world and keeping North Korea at bay, CNN has revved up their critique of the President’s methods of communication and delivery of diplomatic issues. One commentator went so far as to characterize his tough rhetoric against North Korea to a “Yo Momma Contest.”
It’s no secret that liberals in the mainstream media dislike pretty much everything about the President, but there must come a time when we all put our petty differences aside and just pray that the man who runs our country has the wisdom needed to deal with the problems he faces every day. This should be the case with individuals and reporters alike, but sadly they seem to find more fulfillment in taking cheap shots at him.
On CNN contributor took an especially unproductive approach when asked about how the President was dealing with the threat from North Korea.
Via Daily Caller:
CNN political commentator Ana Navarro described the inflammatory rhetoric exchanged between President Donald Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un as a “Yo Mama contest” Friday.
“To me it sounds like a ‘Yo Mama’ contest between the guy from North Korea and the guy from the United States that is going to end up in what? What is the end game here?” Navarro asked. “When are either of these two bluster filled, bravado filled, ginormous ego filled, two men going to stop and, you know, make this something that has a real ending?”
Navarro said Trump’s base is remaining loyal and trusting him to deescalate the situation, but added that the rest of the country is panic stricken with fear from the uncertainty.
“The rest of us in America might be scared, might be apoplectic. Might wake up every morning with a fear wondering what we’re going to see when we look up Twitter,” she said. “You know, have we gone into war, what is he dragging us into?
“He cares about what the base thinks, he caters to them, he promotes their loyalty, and for the large part [they] are remaining loyal,” Navarro concluded.
While the first thing we should address is the disrespect and obvious flippancy that this reporter is using when talking about the President’s dealings with a possible adversary. Secondly, just because our last president was ghetto doesn’t mean this one is. The leader of the free world is trying to warn off the North Korean dictator from bombing us to smithereens, and you’re upset because you think he’s bluffing. If he didn’t give any warning and just hit them with all his military strength, you’d no doubt accuse him of acting before he spoke.
Perhaps he’s not catering, maybe he ran on principles he believes in and his supporters supported him because they believe the same. And instead of making empty campaign promises, he’s actually following through, because, again, it’s what he believes in. I know that’s not usually on the list of possibilities for the DNC, but maybe it is for President Trump.
The point is; no matter what he does, he’s going to lose in the minds of liberals nationwide. The second verse is the same as the first, and they’re just going to keep on singing this same song until they’re either categorically proved wrong or we prove that we don’t believe their lies any more.
