Donna Brazile has finally come clean. Since she is a Democrat, I mean, well sort of …
Donna Lease Brazile, a member of the Democratic party, served as the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairperson in July 2016. Part of her role was to help BOTH Democratic candidates during the primaries. Instead, as Wikileaks later proved, Brazile had most definitely provided the Clinton campaign with Town Hall debate questions in advance.
Despite her repeated denials, Donna Brazile has finally come “clean.” Democrat style.
Last week Brazile published an essay in Time Magazine delineating, in part, her role in the DNC and the email leaks. By this I mean, she blamed Russia, and failed to take full responsibility for her actions.
Brazile, was the first black person to direct a major Presidential campaign in 2000 for Al Gore. Despite the prestigious accomplishment, she chose to instead leave her legacy as one of deceit and embarrassment.
In her essay, titled “Russian DNC Narrative Played Out Exactly As They Hoped,” Brazile starts the essay by castigating the Trump Administration, Jeff Sessions, and what she perceives as a lack of real investigation into “Russia”
Sighhhhh, here we go again.
Fox News quotes the essay:
“[I]n October, a subsequent release of emails revealed that among the many things I did in my role as a Democratic operative and D.N.C. Vice Chair prior to assuming the interim D.N.C. Chair position was to share potential town hall topics with the Clinton campaign,”
“My job was to make all our Democratic candidates look good, and I worked closely with both campaigns to make that happen. But sending those emails was a mistake I will forever regret,”
However, Brazile really meant to say, this was all just a part of a huge Russian conspiracy.
“By stealing all the DNC’s emails and then selectively releasing those few, the Russians made it look like I was in the tank for Secretary Clinton. Despite the strong, public support I received from top Sanders campaign aides in the wake of those leaks, the media narrative played out just as the Russians had hoped, leaving Sanders supporters understandably angry and sowing division in our ranks. In reality, not only was I not playing favorites, the more competitive and heated the primary got, the harder D.N.C. staff worked to be scrupulously fair and beyond reproach. In all the months the Russians monitored the D.N.C.’s email, they found just a handful of inappropriate emails, with no sign of anyone taking action to disadvantage the Sanders campaign.”
She then pretends this is really about standing up for the American people. After all SHE is the one with integrity.
“Let me be clear: This is not just the price of politics. This is not normal. We cannot let this stand. Our democratic process itself was attacked and harmed, and all Americans should be concerned.”
Here is the real issue. Brazile initially denied the accusations, then when caught “blue handed” she claimed to be the victim.
“As a Christian woman, I understand persecution, but I will not sit here and be persecuted…Your information is totally false.”
Really, a CHRISTIAN?
Imagine if Jesus stood up and said, “I lied about the temptation in the desert for forty days, I really hung out and ate ribs and drank wine all day. I regret it. But it was Russia’s fault, and I am totally a man of integrity”
Brazile, being held responsible for your bad decisions is not “persecution” and calling yourself a “Christian”? Well, now I am offended and need a safe space!
A “regret” is not an apology. A “regret” means she made a bad decision and could have done better. This was a out and out deceit. A Christian takes responsibility regardless of the consequences.
Brazile avoided the over-used and abused race card. Instead, Brazile wants us to believe she was “persecuted” for her beliefs.
You need to HAVE beliefs to be persecuted for them, Brazile.
No, Brazile, persecution of Christians is what your party does best. Leave our name out of your mouth!
As for your “regret,” here’s a quarter, call someone who cares.
