This just in—Republican lawmaker Blake Farenthold called for a special investigation of Seth Rich’s murder, “in the same manner Russian interference has been reviewed.”
This comes in the wake of several massive bombshells dropped over the past few days, by infamous hacker Kim Dotcom, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and independent journalist and documentary filmmaker, Mike Cernovich.
The curious case of Seth Rich’s murder has recently been subject to enormous scrutiny, with many claiming that he was murdered by deep state insiders for exposing the corruption going on at the highest levels of the Democratic National Convention.

Seth Rich was murdered in Washington, D.C. on July 8th, 2016, under some very odd circumstances. He was shot once in the back of the head, and once in the spine, which is the classic hallmark of a Hit man’s execution. None of his valuables were taken, either, which rules out any sort of financial motivations.
Julian Assange has suggested that Seth Rich was, in fact, the WikiLeaks informant, which would mean that he was killed for divulging information about Hillary Clinton’s corruption, as well as her ties to George Soros and other high-level puppet masters pulling the strings.

Now, after the internet has been set off in a frenzy over these revelations, Blake Farenthold, a fourth-term congressman of the GOP, has called for a federal investigation into Seth Rich’s murder.
The Corpus Christi Caller Times reports:
“Corpus Christi Republican Congressman Blake Farenthold considers the source behind the 2016 hack of the Democratic National Committee’s email server an unanswered question and believes a federal investigation is warranted.”
“Speaking on CNN Wednesday, the fourth-term congressman refuted a widely believed conclusion that the Russian government interfered with the U.S. presidential election to aid President Donald Trump’s campaign and instead indicated a conspiracy theory about a slain Democratic National Committee staffer could be true.”
His fear, he says, is that our “constant focusing on the Russians,” is a red herring—a distraction, meant to direct our attention away from more important matters. “There’s still some questions as to whether the intrusion of the DNC server was an insider job or whether or not it was the Russians.”
Later, he elaborated on his opinion, and said that the #SethRich murder should be handled in the same way as the “Trump/Russia” accusations were handled.

Farenthold said the Russian conclusion is premature until there’s a review of Democratic committee’s computer system by an independent investigator.
“We’re relying only on the report of somebody that the DNC contracted to examine their computer rather than having federal officials,” Farenthold said. “To me, we need to let the feds look at it.”
With so many high level journalists and politicians pressuring the FBI to investigate the DNC and the murders surrounding them, one question remains: who will President Trump elect as head of the FBI? After firing Comey, who many have called a “showboat,” and a “grandstander,” there’s a lot of work to be done in draining the swamp.
