This just in—on March 13th, U.S. special operations, including SEAL Team 6, will be participating in several joint military drills in South Korea.
Yonhap News, South Korea’s largest news agency, has the scoop:
“The U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six will join the annual Foal Eagle and Key Resolve exercises between the two allies for the first time, along with the Army’s Rangers, Delta Force and Green Berets.”
“A bigger number of and more diverse U.S. special operation forces will take part in this year’s Foal Eagle and Key Resolve exercises to practice missions to infiltrate into the North, remove the North’s war command and demolition of its key military facilities,” the official told Yonhap News Agency asking not to be named.”
These US operations are put into place, in the event that a psychotic Kim Jong-Un decides to act up. Seoul and Washington have announced that the drills are purely for defensive purposes, but Pyongyang has attacked them as being rehearsal for an invasion.
Trump has previously tweeted that he won’t let North Korea get their hands on nuclear weapons:
North Korea just stated that it is in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the U.S. It won’t happen!

Could this be Trump’s preparation, in case North Korea does in fact get its hands on weapons of mass destruction? Or could he be orchestrating an operation to prevent them from getting nukes in the first place?
I don’t know whether or not these operations are purely defensive or more offensive, but I do know one thing: the citizens of South Korea can rest easy, knowing that the big old U S and A is watching over them.
