HILARIOUS: Cher Offered Her House to ‘Dreamers,’ and Then Some Guy CALLED HER BLUFF

Cher

Singer/actress Cher, or at least the withered husk that was once married to Sonny Bono, is never short on political opinions. After President Trump announced he was ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, she went on a Twitter rampage. She claimed Republicans have no heart and questioned the President’s sanity.

She also went out on a serious limb, offering to open her home to “Dreamers” to give them sanctuary. Her claim is not only classic “virtue signaling,” it shows a complete lack of understanding of the situation of “Dreamers” in the DACA program.

“Dreamers” aren’t homeless and don’t need a place to stay. Technically, those are refugees. If Cher was really concerned about the plight of “Dreamers,” she would pay to get them all attorneys.

Under current law, people under 18 cannot personally apply for legal status or citizenship until they come of age. Those that do try to get legal status once they turn 18 run into another problem: even if they follow the rules, they can be deported at any time. In fact, President Obama deported more illegal and undocumented immigrants than any other President in history. And he claimed to like immigrants.

“Dreamers” who want to be Americans really have one option: get a really good attorney, because the immigration system is incredibly complicated. Anyone who tries to do it without an attorney often makes a paperwork mistake and gets deported as a result. But Cher isn’t going to spend good money on someone else’s attorneys, when she can just grandstand on Twitter.

Here is Cher’s tweet claiming she is ready to bunk up with strangers and open her home.

When someone questioned whether she would actually do it, Cher became enraged.

Cher probably figured she had won the argument, at least until someone forced her to put up or shut up by tweeting out her home address so “Dreamers” can head on over to visit.

Note: we have blocked her full address for security reasons.

In case you’re wondering, that is a $41 million house in Malibu. Anyone actually think Cher is going to open her doors to anyone?
