Despite the politically motivated shooting of Republicans by a fan of Bernie Sanders earlier today the New York City rendition of Julius Caesar in Central Park is proceeding as scheduled.
Silence is Consent previously reported here on the play and how it depicts a man resembling President Trump (who is apparently Julius Caesar) being assassinated by minorities and women.
According to the website for the play the show is going on as scheduled.
The controversial (to say the least) nature of the play has caused some sponsors to back out, but others remain defiant in their support of what is basically the liberal fantasy that Donald Trump be killed.
From Gateway Pundit:
The New York Times and CNN’s parent company Time Warner are standing by their sponsorship of a play that depicts the brutal assassination of President Donald Trump, raising the question of whether the news reporting outlets should retain their credentials to cover and have access to President Trump. Delta Airlines and Bank of America have reportedly dropped their support for the play in the wake of public outrage over the play’s depiction of Trump’s assassination.
Hopefully as this travesty of a play continues on more sponsors will figure out the right thing and jump off. At this point it’s not likely.
