Maxine Waters Gets Put In Her Place After Mocking President Trump On The House Floor

Mad Maxine Waters is at it again and this time she got called down by the presiding officer on the House floor. The fired up Democrat from California with a vendetta against the President went after him with guns blazing in honor of the anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act.

This angry Democrat took up the valuable time on the floor of the House of Representatives to bash the President under the guise of honoring those with disabilities. She even brought visual aids, which she was eventually asked to remove. She was, of course, not thrilled with that request (but what is Maxine thrilled with).

Via The Hill:

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) drew attention on Thursday for her use of a prop on the House floor: a photo of President Trump mocking a disabled reporter during the 2016 campaign.

Waters spoke next to the enlarged photo as she commemorated the 27th anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act a day earlier.

“It is a day to reflect on how people with disabilities are treated in our society,” Waters began.

“Our president indicated to us what he thinks about people with disabilities long before he was elected, when he mocked a disabled reporter. Mocking the disabled is rude and insensitive and it sends a terrible message to our children.”

Waters originally planned to speak next to a photo of Trump mocking the disabled reporter that had a CNN chyron explaining his remarks. But the House presiding officer instructed Waters to use a different poster, which was an otherwise identical photo without any caption.

“Would you tell us why?” Waters inquired.

“It’s the determination of the chair that it’s a breach of the decorum of the House,” the presiding officer replied.

Oh, ya think maybe it’s not OK to make fun of the President on the House floor? That seems like something that someone who’s been serving in the House of Representatives for 30+ years should know. Perhaps she knew, and just didn’t really care, in which case it would probably be a good idea for the constituents of her district to remind her of what she’s in Washington to do. Hint; it’s not to carry out her own vengeance on someone who’s ticked her off.

At least a few people had things to say about Gangsta Lean Maxine’s antics:

I think we can all imagine the blood bath that would have ensued if a Republican had some something like that to President Obama. Not only would they have been blasted as being racist and anti-American and all sorts of other things, but their career would have been over. It’s not difficult to see the double standard that we are held to, but it’s still sad.

That being said, bringing a picture of a sitting President to the floor of the Hosue of Representatives for the express purpose of making fun of him would have been inappropriate, no matter the political parties in question. Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of this ridiculous mockery that this 78-year-old millennial is making of our system of government.
