WATCH: Former Army Ranger SMACKS DOWN out-of-touch celebrities for lecturing us to “love” terrorists (VIDEO)

Former Army Ranger Sean Parnell has had some choice words for celebrities who call for love (presumably for terrorists) from the windows of their ivory towers.

Silence is Consent previously reported on the idiotic statement made by Katy Perry following the terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. She is unfortunately far from alone.

From Fox News (all emphasis in bold is mine):

A former Army Ranger who fought in Afghanistan sounded off this morning on what celebrities are saying after the Manchester concert bombing.

Singer Katy Perry said after the attack that “the greatest thing we can do is unite as people and love on each other.”

A former Army Ranger who fought in Afghanistan sounded off this morning on what celebrities are saying after the Manchester concert bombing.

Singer Katy Perry said after the attack that “the greatest thing we can do is unite as people and love on each other.”

“No barriers, no borders, we all need to just coexist,” said the global pop icon.

The sentiments were echoed by stars like Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake.

Both of them posted on social media and they are as vapid and divorced from reality as Katy Perry is.

The worst was Cyrus. Brace yourself.

Before getting to Sean Parnell’s excellent response. Some thoughts on this horrendous Instagram post by Cyrus…

First, There are so many levels of incoherence and narcissism baked into this post it’s heartbreaking to see that the “likes” for it ranges in the millions.

Second of all not to be a grammar nazi, but “apart” means to be separated. “A part” indicates involvement.

Third, this isn’t about Cyrus or Grande, but that’s primarily what this post is about. The victims are an after thought to talking about herself, her friendship with Grande and…

Finally, her anti-war message is off base and shows the depth of how out of touch she is with the event, the stupidity of it is compounded by her blanket call to “love” the terrorists, presumably.

Anyway, Fox and Friends had former Army Ranger Sean Parnell on to discuss these vapid bags of gas and his response couldn’t have been more perfect.

Sean Parnell, author of Outlaw Platoon, reacted on “Fox & Friends” by saying the responses are “out of touch” with reality and the threats that ordinary people face.

“It’s really easy to say ‘coexist’ and advocate for open borders when you live in a gated compound surrounded by armed guards and security every day. They basically live in a bulletproof bubble,” he said.

Parnell agreed the grieving families need love and people should unite, but stressed that “candlelight vigils are useless without a proactive action step” to target ISIS and “kill them” where they operate.

I usually loathe saying stuff like this, because people are entitled to their opinion, but when Hollywood puts out such objectively mindless and tone-deaf drivel that contributes nothing to the conversation, except condemnation being turned back on them, then maybe the zombies of La La land need to just shut up and act.
