Planned Parenthood and Dating App OkCupid Team Up To Promote Abortion (VIDEO)

Pllaned Parenthood and OKCupid

OkCupid, the popular dating app, is diving head-first into the culture war by asking users their opinion on the federal funding of Planned Parenthood. How you answer will determine the type of person you connect with on the app.

According to a report by Cosmopolitan Magazine, the dating app that is now requiring people to answer the question “Should the government defund Planned Parenthood?” If you answer “no,” you get a fancy pink badge that says “#IStandWithPP.”

It is not clear what happens if you answer “yes,” but it likely means OKCupid thinks you’re a horrible person who doesn’t understand what you’re talking about, and isn’t educated on all the great benefits Planned Parenthood offers.

Melissa Hobley, CMO of OKCupid, told Cosmopolitan why they took this step.

“Our community is telling us that caring about the conversation is important, and it does matter that [matches] have a viewpoint that aligns with what they care about,” Hobley said. They introduced the question, and after getting nearly 400,000 answers, found an overwhelming support for Planned Parenthood among the app’s female users. “Ninety percent of millennial women on OkCupid care about and believe in supporting Planned Parenthood,” she said.

Hannah Smothers, the author of the article, did see an obvious flaw in the system, and used it to attack pro-lifers.

“Sure, people could still potentially manipulate this answer, earn the badge, and then spend 30 minutes giving you a speech on the first date about how they think Planned Parenthood is a terrible organization. People can be trash!”

Many people may be 100% supportive of Planned Parenthood, but how much do they really know about the organization? Planned Parenthood, of course, only wants you to see all the “good” things they can do for you, but what are the things they are hiding? Why, instead of describing what an abortion actually does, do they refer to it as “removing a pregnancy out of your uterus” on their website?

In fact, Planned Parenthood doesn’t tell a woman how far along they are, if their baby is healthy or not, or do ultra-sounds. Even though they claim to provide a number of pregnancy services, this video shows that they only provide one service: abortion.

From 2015-2016, Planned Parenthood performed 328,348 abortions. Think about that: 328,348 unborn babies were killed in their clinics. Those babies had no say so in the situation. They never had a chance.

And OKCupid won’t give their former parents a cute little badge in their honor.
