Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer at the center of the collusion accusations made against President Donald Trump, has a complicated and confusing history. Although she appeared eager to help the Trump campaign, it appears she also attended an anti-Trump rally. It leads many to wonder if her meeting with Donald Trump Jr. was sincere or part of an elaborate conspiracy.
It seems odd that Veselnitskaya, if she was indeed part of a “set-up” to get the President, would wait until after he was in office to reveal her involvement. However, what appears to be her ties to some Obama administration officials, as well as some questionable Facebook posts, call her true intent into question.
Although she did post pictures from the anti-Trump Women’s March in January, it is not clear if she was in attendance, or was at a hotel where the march passed, as the photos suggest. Her comments are open-ended and do not provide much context. In addition, she has shared some articles that were critical of President Trump.
Journalist Mike Cernovich has compiled some of the questionable behavior into one video. You can watch it below.
It remains unclear if Natalia Veselnitskaya was a political plant or an opportunist.
