Just as Donald Trump and our government have been moving towards constructing the border wall, Texas State officials were met with a gruesome surprise at the Mexican border.
The Mexican drug cartels have long caused trouble down there—from Texas to Nevada to New Mexico all the way to California, they own the illegal drug trade there.
…and they’re willing to take any action necessary to secure their power, even if it means doing things that are absolutely unthinkable. They’ve been known for severing limbs, raping and torturing women, and even skinning men alive.
You would think that after seeing things like this, Texas State troopers wouldn’t be phased by anything—but earlier today something absolutely terrifying happened, that has left border patrol scrambling to control the situation.
Normally a quiet town, violence erupted near the rural community of Nava, Coahuila, when two cartel gunmen blazed through town in a white Toyota Tundra, desperately trying to escape from a violent shootout that they started with the Mexican police.
Officials with a special investigative unit spotted the vehicle earlier, and had tried to pull them over—but the cartel members quickly open fired and sped off, in which a high speed chase ensued.
The cartel members were rapidly approaching the US border, and the Mexican authorities knew this. They managed to warn Texas State officials, but not before the cartel truck was able to ram through a barricade and enter into the US.
“Two cartel gunmen fleeing from a raging gun battle with Mexican authorities ran through U.S. border security measures twice as they crossed into Texas and back; using their vehicle to ram barriers.”
“The gunmen were able to reach the main plaza in Piedras Negras, Plaza de Las Culturas, where they once again engaged law enforcement in a short firefight.”
“As they made their way to the International Bridge #2, gunmen rammed their way through other vehicles and barriers as they used the inbound lanes through Mexican Customs to reach the U.S. side of the bridge.”
“The cartel gunmen were able to cross into Eagle Pass through International Bridge #2 by running the security checkpoints. Shortly after they crossed back through a second bridge that was closed at the time. The gunmen used their vehicle to ram security barriers and later ditched it to escape on foot.”
If it’s this easy for the cartel to enter into the US, even when Mexican officials AND Texas police are trying to stop them, we NEED Donald Trump to build a border wall. Those scumbags could have easily driven to a neighborhood and kidnapped an innocent child, or shot up a home.
Unfortunately, there was a large number of casualties, as well. During the initial gun battle and chase, a total of eight Mexican police officers were injured. So far it does not look like any US officials have been injured, although they were shot at—be sure to stay tuned for breaking details.
