This is why in the digital age handwriting, especially cursive, is still important


This isn’t a political post, but this fantastic and beautiful video about the power of penmanship makes a very sobering point about that power as it pertains to our founding documents.

The narrative also points out that in a world where we are physically sort of disconnected from the messages we create we understand less and less what it is we are actually saying. That, along with the anonymity afforded us by the internet, can certainly explain how social media mobs form and become as venomous as they are wrong on facts.s

In any case, this is awesome stuff and it’s good to know there are still some out there (myself not included, to be sure) who still live an analog life for the sake of much needed posterity.
