The poll, conducted on Friday and Saturday were done before the second presidential debate on Sunday. Those polls show Clinton with 46 percent support among likely voters in a four-way match up, compared to 35 percent for Trump. You have probably seen the latest example of the media claiming a released presidential poll from NBC and The Wall Street Journal as an example of Hillary Clinton expanding to an 11 point lead in the weekend following the “controversial” leaked tape of Donald Trump. The claim is complete and utter nonsense.
Here’s the proof.
Wall Street Journal Clinton – Trump poll
The poll of 500 registered voters was conducted October 8-9 and has a margin of error of 4.4 percent for all registered voters and 4.6 percent for likely voters. NBC News will also release another post-debate poll in the coming days. Real Clear Politics poll is a little better because it takes into account an average of polls and shows the break down. This race isn’t over by any stretch of the imagination. Don’t stress out of over it. Or haven’t you heard? National political polling is in crisis. People aren’t responding like they used to.
