Tucker Carlson has not had his show on Fox News for long, but he already has made an impression. His debates against assorted liberals and millennial snowflakes have made his show appointment television. His interview with a fake protester on Tuesday night, however, just may have topped them all.
Fox News provided the following description of the company Tucker was about to discuss on his show.
Demand Protest, a San Francisco company calling itself the ‘largest private grassroots support organization in the United States,’ posting ads offering to pay protesters to disrupt Trump’s inauguration.
Demand Protest had made headlines in recent days when the media picked up on their offer of thousands of dollars to anyone willing to protest at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
On Tuesday, Carlson interviewed a representative of Demand Protest. The representative, “Dom Tullipso,” likely did not expect Tucker to expose him as a fraud. After all, he had duped a number of news organizations and newspapers. Carlson, however, had done his homework. Tullipso is an alias, and Demand Protest is not a real company and is not paying anyone to protest. It appears it was an attempt to dupe Fox News into reporting “fake news.” Once he was exposed, however, we all got comedy gold. The fake protester attempted to keep up the charade, even claiming to be supporting political heroes like Julian Assange and “Peyton Manning,” an apparent attempt to reference Chelsea Manning.
Here is the video you have to see to believe.
Tucker Carlson Tonight can be seen on Fox News weeknights at 9/8 central.
