President Donald Trump gave a speech tonight at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The speech comes on his 100th day in office, and the President took the opportunity to review his accomplishments.
The President opened his speech by openly trolling the members of the media, many of which were attending the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. at the same time. President Trump declined to attend, breaking a decades-long tradition. Although he never admitted it, many felt the President refused to attend because of the treatment he received by the media.
He told the rowdy crowd in Pennsylvania that the media “wished they could be here.” He teased possibly going to to next year’s event, however.
President Trump also criticized the Democrats, including Chuck Schumer in particular. He said the Senate minority leader will “lead the Democrats to their doom.”
Here is the entire speech, including the introduction by Vice President Mike Pence.
