President Trump delivered the commencement address this morning at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The President delivered an inspiring speech, exhorting the graduates to go out and change the world. “In your hearts are inscribed the values of service, sacrifice, and devotion. And now you must go forth into the world and turn your hopes and dreams into action,” he said.
He also told the graduates not to listen to those who would criticize and doubt their efforts. “Nothing is easier or more pathetic than being a critic,” he said.
Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. was an early advocate of President Trump during the Republican primary. His support solidified his evangelical support, and the President returned the favor by speaking at the school’s first spring commencement after the election.
