The Democrats certainly all seemed to be in contest with each other on who could distance themselves from the constitution. The second amendment being one of the most brazen examples.
The facepalm moment for me came with Jim Webb…the guy everyone seems to agree is experiencing political party dysphoria (he’s a trans-republican)
(Regarding guns) we do need background checks. We need to keep the people who should not have guns away from them. But we have to respect the tradition in this country of people who want to defend themselves and their family from violence.

The right to bear arms is a constitutional right, those rights are endowed by our creator (whether Democrats want to believe in Him or not) and they are inalienable.
It’s not a “tradition.” If it was it would’ve gone the way of marriage by now.
