Anthony Scaramucci: White House insiders trying to “EJECT” Trump from office (VIDEO)

People inside the White House are secretly plotting to “eject” President Trump from office, according to former Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, in an interview with ABC.

In an interview on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” that aired today, Scaramucci said “The president is not a representative of the political establishment class, so for whatever reason the people have made a decision that they want to eject him.”

The accusation may bring to mind the “deep state” conspiracy argument, that the Washington establishment is secretly plotting against President Trump’s reforms and independent thinking. While the “deep state” argument is often convenient rhetoric, the high number of leaks from the West Wing indicate there are actually some elements working against the President.

When President Trump assembled his White House staff, he brought on a number of people who were not specifically loyalists to his campaign initially. Priebus in particular was critical of some of Trump’s statements and actions as a candidate. Once he became the nominee, however, many of those individuals fell in line behind him. However, it appears much of that friction and mistrust remained.

It seems some of that resistance may be coming from President Trump’s inner circle. Scaramucci all but confirmed it in the interview when he referred to the “elements” working against Trump by saying he had “named some names.” offers more details.

Mr. Scaramucci spoke to ABC News for the first time since being sacked last month – after just 10 days in office.

It followed a phone recording in which he strongly attacked then-White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

He also directed profanity-laced insults at Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.

Mr Scaramucci said he had thought the interview was off the record, and he had “paid the consequences for that conversation”.

“I think there are elements inside of Washington, also inclusive in the White House, that are not necessarily abetting the president’s interests or his agenda.”

However, he said the president needed to bring in “more loyalists” in order to carry out his agenda.

Here is video of Scaramucci’s comments.
