Fox News host Sean Hannity unleashed an epic monologue on CNN Wednesday night, branding it the “s***hole network” for its over-the-top and biased reporting against President Donald Trump.
In the opening monologue for his show Wednesday evening, Hannity ripped the mainstream media for their bombastic and misleading reporting on the President, calling then “sheep.” He pointed the media disbelief that the President received a clean bill of health.
During a press briefing in which a military doctor outlined the details of his physical exam, the media seemed obsessed with questioning him about everything from dementia to dentures.
Hannity even showed a number of clips from CNN and MSNBC, among others, where they doubted the results of the medical check-up. Even CNN’s Sanjay Gupta went off the deep end, saying he believes the President has heart disease, despite the excellent prognosis. Gupta, it should be noted, has never examined the President, but issued a definitive diagnosis live on the air.
“It becomes a competition to see who can say the most outlandish, the most offensive, the most completely false thing about President Trump. It’s like they are hypnotized, lobotomized robots programmed to ‘wake up, hate Trump.’ It’s really pathetic. It’s sad, it’s predictable, and they are not serving you, the American people,” he said.
Finally, Hannity used the examples to brand CNN the “s***hole network.” He outlined the obsessive questioning by the media of the President’s doctor, which included questions about hand washing, golf playing, use of Twitter, and how many scoops of ice cream he has.
Also on Wednesday evening, President Trump released his “Fake News Awards” via the GOP website. The New York Times, NBC, and of course CNN led the pack of the most egregious lies reported over the past year.
