Actor and comedian Bill Cosby has been found guilty on all counts of sexual assault.
Video from the courthouse from The Washington Post is included below.
Cosby was facing three counts of sexual assault of Andrea Constand, a Temple University employee.
The Philadelphia jury returned a verdict on the second day of deliberations.
The 80-year-old comedian was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. He could serve as much as 10 years on each count.
The Associated Press is reporting that Cosby was initially silent, than lashed out at the prosecutor in the courtroom with a vicious, profanity-laced tirade. After the prosecutor asked for Cosby to be immediately jailed, Cosby lashed out and called the prosecutor an “a**hole.” Cosby was released on bail.
Unlike a previous trial that ended in a mistrial, prosecutors used Cosby’s past admissions about drugs and sex as well as the testimony of five other women to help bolster accuser Andrea Constand’s allegations. Cosby’s lawyers argued Constand leveled false accusations against Cosby so she could sue him and extract a huge civil settlement.
One witness came forward to say Constand was using the allegations to get a payday.
More than 60 women have accused Cosby of sexual harassment or assault.
