BREAKING: Van crashes into crowd in Los Angeles – AT LEAST 9 INJURED (VIDEO)

An unknown person drove a van into a crowd of people in Los Angeles County. This is a breaking story and we will update as we learn more.

UPDATE: 7:36 p.m. CST): The incident occurred at the Fish Stop Restaurant at the corner of Pico and Redondo. Those injured were eating outside of the restaurant.

UPDATE: (7:30 p.m. CST): Nine people were injured in the incident, eight are hospitalized.

UPDATE (7:20 p.m. CST): The LAPD says this looks like an accident, not terrorism.

According to ABC 7 in Los Angeles, the driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police.

Fox 11 Los Angeles reports:

At least seven people are injured when a vehicle crashes into a crowd of people in the Mid-Wilshire area.

The incident happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 5000 block of West Pico Boulevard. Six of the people injured suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to LAFD. One person was listed in critical condition.
