With President Donald Trump nearing 100 days in office, the fear mongering from Democrats is only getting worse. The latest example of the wild, out-of-control rhetoric comes from a little known Democratic congressman. During a town hall forum last week, a California member of the House of Representatives said President Trump is worse than a terrorist.

Rep. Mark DeSaulnier represents the 11th congressional district in California. During his town hall last week, he didn’t have to worry about protesters yelling at him, since he’s a Democrat. Instead, he took softball questions that allowed him to rant on his progressive ideals.

One of the questions was read by a member of his staff, and was supposedly written by a kid. Here’s what the question said.

“My name is Eden, and I’m 11 years old. My mom is worried about my future with President Trump. On election night, my mom cried. Kids at my school are worrying about being deported. I’ve read and heard awful things about him. Should I be worried about my future? As a kid, what can I do about it?”

That was all DeSaulnier needed to launch an attack on Trump and conservative principles.

The Daily Caller reports.

While speaking at a town hall at Stanley Middle School in Lafayette, Calif., DeSaulnier moved to the Q&A portion of the event after his talk and answered the final question from Eden, an 11-year-old girl, with a bang, East Bay Times reported Saturday.

“From the mouths of babes,” DeSaulnier said. “I think you should be concerned. This is dangerous stuff. I’ve said a few times, the most dangerous person in America isn’t a terrorist, it’s the person who’s president of the United States. So Eden, you’ve got to read, you have to be thoughtful, and you have to be engaged.”

A member of DeSaulnier’s staff had read Eden’s question out loud to the audience, as she couldn’t personally be there to attend because of her bedtime.

Local media loved the moment, all while downplaying the outrageous assertion that Trump is worse than a terrorist. Gary Peterson of The East Bay Times praised the incident in an article entitled “Child’s Donald Trump question elicits congressman’s heartfelt reply.” The article, however, revealed that Eden wasn’t asking the question out of genuine concern. She was doing it to advance a political talking point.

Eden participated in Trump protests at her school shortly after the election and marched for climate change awareness. But she’s not only a political activist. She also has volunteered at her temple, recently picking fruit for the homeless.

Eden is an 11-year-old. What sort of 11-year-old participates in Trump protests at her school?

The kind that gets used as political pawns by Democrats, it seems.
