HOLLYWOOD PRINCIPLES: Meryl Streep once gave a child rapist a standing ovation

Meryl Streep does not like Donald Trump. We get it. She will, however, give a child rapist a standing ovation.

Streep wants to preach down to the rest of us, but she has no moral or ethical standing. Not after she gave child rapist Roman Polanski a standing ovation.

The good folks at Twitchy provide the details.

Since we’re talking about Meryl Streep and her use of the Golden Globes to bash President-elect Donald Trump, here’s a reminder that there’s a reason conservatives hate Hollywood. Fast-forward to the 1:10 mark in the clip below to see Streep (and lots of other top names in Hollywood) giving convicted rapist Roman Polanski a standing ovation when he won the Academy Award for Best Director for “The Pianist” in 2003:

Did you catch the roar of approval from the Oscar crowd? These are the same people who are deeply offended over Donald Trump’s words right now.

Here’s a screenshot of Streep’s stand for a child rapist.

We won’t go into the details of Polanski’s rape of the young girl he victimized. They are available online if you research, but they are disgusting and we will not parade them here. Suffice it to say, Meryl Streep should be ashamed of herself for applauding this man.

Do not forget, this is not a matter of he said/she said. Roman Polanski has admitted to raping a thirteen-year-old girl. Foreign countries are covering for the man by refusing to extradite him to America to face justice. Because he is a great director, however, Hollywood liberals like Meryl Streep give him a pass.
