In the latest show of liberal Hollywood hypocrisy, Kathy Griffin has admitted that she has built a wall on the border of her property to protect herself.
Griffin, the self-proclaimed ‘D-list’ actress who earned infamy by posting a picture depicting the beheading of President Trump, is now adopting his principles, it appears.
After having a run-in with a neighbor (who, ironically, is a Trump supporter), Griffin suddenly wanted to protect her borders, putting up a wall which should keep any threats out. Reportedly, there is no big, beautiful door in it for the neighbor to enter through.
Kathy Griffin has revealed that she built a special wall to separate her sprawling California mansion from her neighbor’s home, after he began screaming insults over to her in the wake of her controversial decapitated Trump picture.
The comedienne, 57, explained the story behind the architectural upgrade while giving a tour of her lavish $10.5 million home to YouTube star Shane Dawson, 30, his mother Teresa Yaw, 59, his boyfriend Ryland Adams, 27, and several of his friends.
During a video posted on Shane’s channel, which detailed how the intimate at-home meeting came about, Kathy gave the group a full tour of the Bel Air property, and explained as she took them out onto a large terrace that runs across the back of it why she ‘had to build a wall… as Trump would say’.
The TV star claimed that the Trump-supporting neighbor in question has been regularly screaming insults at her ever since she posed for her infamous photo depicting her holding up a mask that looked like President Donald Trump’s decapitated head.
Conservative comedian Mark Dice has even been the target of Griffin’s anger lately.
Griffin explained why she built the wall.
‘I have a neighbor on this side and for some reason, ever since my Trump picture, he stands there and screams “Hey you f*****g d**e, you f*****g c**t,”‘ she said.
‘We kind of built, like a little… As Trump would say, we built a wall. I’m not a Trump supporter, but we built a wall.’
The photo, released in May 2017, led to uproar against Kathy and to her being fired from her New Year’s Eve program on CNN, which she had co-hosted since 2007. Her remaining tour dates were also all canceled.
As it turns out, the scandal also caused neighborhood issues for Kathy.
While Kathy didn’t identify the man she discussed in Shane’s video, she and her neighbor Jeffrey Mezger, the 63-year-old CEO of KB Homes, have been involved in a legal battle since last year.
Others saw the irony of Griffin’s actions.
@kathygriffin Poor thing Did you have to build a fence? I guess you'll be in support of a fence along the border! I'd be scared too if I looked like you!

In September 2017, Jeffrey was caught in an audio recording lashing out at Kathy’s boyfriend Randy, referring to the comedienne as a ‘bald d**e’ and a ‘c**t’ after Randy filed a noise complaint against Jeffrey’s grandchildren, as reported by the Huffington Post at the time.
In January this year, Kathy and Jeffrey faced off in a Los Angeles court after each filing a restraining order against each other.
Kathy told a judge that Kim and Kanye West were better neighbors than Jeffrey and his wife, and that she never had any problem with them, The Blast wrote at the time.
The two tried to reach a settlement in court but couldn’t agree.
