In an unprecedented move of naivety and arrogance, Katy Perry recently called for open borders in response to the Manchester terrorist attack, killing at least 20 children and injuring hundreds more.
As Silence is Consent reported two days ago, she made an “impassioned plea,” for people to co-exist, and said that barriers and borders would detract from that goal. According to Breitbart:
“In an interview Tuesday on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ singer suggested that people ‘unite’ following the tragedy, which occurred as young fans and their parents were leaving the 21,000-seat arena at around 10:35 p.m. local time.”
“ ‘Whatever we say behind people’s backs, the Internet can be a little bit ruthless as far as fan bases go but I think that the greatest thing we can do is just unite and love on each other,’ Perry said, adding, ‘No barriers, no borders, we all just need to co-exist.’ ”
Anyone with a modicum of common sense understands that open borders is NOT the correct response to a terrorist attack. If an army is trying to break down your castle wall, you don’t lower the drawbridge. You double down on reinforcements.
Apparently these vain and insulated celebrities don’t understand this, despite the fact that they live in gated communities (Katy Perry has a 15 foot high wall around her house).
Thankfully, however, some patriots such as this former Navy Seal, are willing to call her out on her nonsense.
“I think that if you come to America, you’re an American and nothing else. An American foremost,” he says. “We don’t have people who respect the culture of the United States of America.”
…and he’s right. We have illegal immigrants from Mexico coming over and brandishing their Mexican flags. We have ISIS members coming over and burning American flags, while preaching their extremist message. We have immigrants that don’t learn our language, don’t adopt our customs, and don’t integrate.
“You have people like Katy Perry, for instance. I mean this woman has said: ‘Oh, we need to give them hugs!’—Go to hell, Katy Perry!” he proclaims.
The reporter is slightly taken aback, but the former Navy Seal doesn’t back down, as they’re not known for doing so. “Hold one of your concerts in Syria and see how that goes. These people fundamentally don’t understand what is going on here.”
The reporter chimes in, putting in a good word for Katy Perry, saying that she doesn’t necessarily have bad intentions, she just doesn’t understand what’s going on.
The ex-Navy Seal responds by calling Katy Perry “benign,” and saying that she doesn’t “understand any of this.”
“I’m so strong against these celebrities who speak out and say ‘Oh, we can fight this through love!’—we are putting the political correctness of the Islamic culture over the LIVES of our own citizens, and we need to stop that immediately.”
Finally, a man who speaks the truth. This is why President Trump was elected—Americans are tired of politicians choosing political correctness over safety and reality, and we want it to stop.
