Former President Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch could face up to 5-10 years of prison time if certain obstruction of justice allegations against her are proven true, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Silence is Consent reported that a formal Senate probe into possible collusion between former AG Loretta Lynch and the Clinton Campaign and the DNC. You can see that post here.
A key question the Senate Judiciary Committee is looking to have answered per a letter to former AG Lynch is the following:
During your time in the Justice Department, did you ever have communications with [former DNC chairwoman] Rep. [Debbie] Wasserman Schultz, her staff, her associates, or any other current or former DNC officials about the Clinton email investigation?
Judge Napolitano does not mince words here. Loretta Lynch could face serious trouble if the allegations are true.
From Fox News
Judge Andrew Napolitano says former Attorney General Loretta Lynch could be facing jail time for obstruction of justice if emails to former DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz reportedly about furthering DNC interests surface.
“It is alleged, this document has not seen the light of day yet, if it exists that there is one or several emails between Debbie Wasserman Shultz and Loretta Lynch concerning the behavior that Loretta Lynch will take to further the DNC interests while Mrs. Lynch was the Attorney General, that if it happened, would be misconduct in office,” he said.
Napolitano classifies this as a felony, which is equivalent to an obstruction of justice charge.
“Depending on what they charge her with, it could be five to ten years, it’s very serious, it’s the equivalent of obstruction of justice.”
Napolitano also pointed out the Senate can force Lynch to testify, you can be sure that is going to happen. Under oath she’ll need to either admit to this (or plead the 5th) or commit perjury in order to protect Has-been Hillary.
The judge also asserts that there might very well be enough to go on already to prove obstruction of justice based on her behavior and mindset to influence the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email servers, based on recent testimony from former FBI director James Comey.
