It’s probably more than safe to say that Trump supporters have no problem with people who want to protest their guy no matter how vehement the disagreement becomes. It’s annoying, but it’s their right. That’s how I would feel anyway.

Where that tolerance for dissent that is protected by the first amendment ends is where it begins to trample on the first amendment rights of others.

From AZ Family

Anti-Trump protesters were blocking vehicles leading into Fountain Hills in advance of Donald Trump’s campaign stop Saturday morning.

Three protesters were arrested, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said. The sheriff’s office said Sunday their names are Steffany Laughlin, who goes by Ben, Jacinta Gonzalez and Michael Cassidy.

“We had a little problem,” Arpaio told the crowd gathered in Fountain Hills. “Demonstrators were trying to disrupt.Three of them are in jail. If they think they’re going to intimidate you the next president of the U.S., it’s not going to happen.”

For hours, the protesters – about two dozen in total – parked their cars in the middle of the road, unfurling banners reading “Dump Trump” and “Must Stop Trump,” and chanting “Trump is hate.” Traffic was backed up for miles, with drivers honking in fury.

Nothing much will actually come of it, but the three who were arrested for blocking the recent Trump rally in Arizona would have the book thrown at them if I were in charge. What they were doing wasn’t free speech, it was fascist speech. What’s worse is it does nothing…ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, to change the minds of any of Trumps supporters (or any candidate for that matter). Physically blocking the road and infringing on the right of people to peacefully assemble only strengthens the resolve of the infringed. Such tactics are idiotic because they’re totally counter-productive.

Here are three of the perps who think their first amendment right should trump Donald Trump’s rights.
