Michelle Malkin busts Drudge for dishonest hit on Ted Cruz and Christians

They say politics makes strange bedfellows, but it also draws strange and unfortunate lines of division. This years GOP primary has proven this in spades, and it’s wildly entertaining and disappointing simultaneously.

I saw the headline in question in the video below and essentially ignored it for a couple of reasons: 1. I had no idea what point it was actually getting at, meaning it was poorly written and 2. Drudges headlines are usually over-the-top sensational and somewhat misleading, so my half-hearted interpretation with a grain of salt.

The general sense, I guess, was that Cruz was being accused of having a messianic complex that was bolstered by his supporters. That didn’t make any sense to me, so I moved on.

Michelle Malkin didn’t move on from it, and I’m glad she didn’t. Drudge has tremendous power because of the loyalty of his patrons but he needs to figure out this type of crap is bad for business.
