“Crazy Uncle” Joe Biden is positioning himself for a 2020 showdown with Donald Trump, traveling the country and making speeches directly challenging the President. When Biden claimed he would have “beat the hell” out of Trump in high school, the President did not let his macho threats go unanswered.
On Tuesday, former vice president Joe Biden spoke at the University of Miami, and referenced the President’s 2005 remarks caught on tape by Access Hollywood, in which he made lewd comments. Although he did not say the President’s name, he made it clear who he was talking about, and claimed he had his own process for taking care of such situations.
Biden said “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,” to applause from the crowd. “Any guy who talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”
Trump took to Twitter today to respond with a hilarious comeback, mocking Biden’s attempt to seem tough. “Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy,” the President tweeted. “Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”

Biden, who is considering a run for the presidency against Trump in 2020, was discussing the problem of sexual assault Wednesday when he cited the infamous 2005 tape of Trump talking about how he grabbed women.
Biden, selected by Barack Obama for the running mate slot in 2008, had made the same remark back in 2016, just after the release of the Trump tape and ahead of the election against Democrat Hillary Clinton.
For good measure on Wednesday, Biden also pushed back on Trump’s assertion that his comments about grabbing women was just locker room talk.
“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life,” Biden said. “I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy who talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”

The ladies of “The View” defended Biden’s comments, with host Sunny Hostin calling them chivalrous, while characterizing Trump’s comments as “bullying.” Only Meghan McCain came to the President’s defense, saying Biden’s comments were out of line.
