Scott Walker walks away from 2016 GOP race?

If this is true then I wouldn’t be surprised.

A few months ago he was one of my top two choices. While I still like him A LOT the campaign and debates have done what they were supposed to do…sort of.

It’s almost as if he’s gone from star of the hot bod wet t-shirt contest (sorry guys) to the guy at a singles bar with a wedding ring on. (I know, liberals and Mark Sanford don’t get the problem with that).

He barely got a chance to speak in the last debate, and when he did he didn’t really seize on the moment. A large part of the reason for that is he probably wasn’t actually ready for the national stage, because it showed.

Trump has overshadowed everyone, but candidates like Cruz, Rubio, most recently Fiorina, and even guys like Kasich have been sucking more oxygen than Walker because they’ve demonstrated an ability to take whatever issue comes at them and discuss it in meaningful and memorable ways.

Walker just wasn’t getting there, and at this point it sort of is hard to see how he gets his previous footing back, much less gain any ground.

These things happen, I just wish it would happen to the Donald so the serious candidates (of which Walker was one) can get really on with it.

Update: He’s out.
