Singer David Crosby took to Twitter to celebrate reports of Trump Tower in New York City burning.
Crosby deleted the tweets shortly thereafter, but we took screenshots of the tweets before he removed them. Not only did he tweet the comments celebrating the fire, he confirmed to another Twitter user that his words were indeed directed at the Trump Tower situation.
Crosby, of the legendary band Crosby, Stills, and Nash, has been a vocal opponent of President Trump.
According to media reports and the New York City Fire Department, two fire fighters were injured, but not seriously. One civilian in the tower did receive significant injuries. He later died at a local hospital.
At 3:55 EST, Crosby celebrated the fire with the words “oh boy….burn baby burn.” Crosby was responding to another tweet noting the fire.
Here is our screenshot of the tweets by David Crosby.
In this tweet, he confirms he was commenting on the fire.
Last year, Crosby got into an argument with a fan on Twitter after he launched into a tirade about the President during a concert. He called the fan a “dummy” and refused to apologize.
