Vegans Attack After Actor Chris Pratt Posts Pic Of Meat From Sheep He Slaughtered

Chris Pratt

Actor Chris Pratt has never been afraid to talk about his love for hunting, the outdoors, and farm life. When he revealed that he slaughtered a sheep for its meat and wool, however, angry vegans revolted on social media.

Pratt posted a picture on his official Instagram and Facebook pages of the mutton he harvested from the sheep, saying that it had lived a good life on his farm and was killed humanely. That wasn’t enough for some radical vegans, however, who characterized Pratt as a savage for killing an animal for meat.

The post, included below, included the following text, which detailed why he killed the sheep and the use he will get out of it.

Look at all this glorious food! We will eat off him for a month. His wool is becoming yarn as we speak. He lived a very good life. He was groomed and shorn, his hooves medicated, de wormed, no antibiotics necessary. Surrounded by laughing loving humans, including children to whom they provided such joy. Nuzzled, pet and loved every day. No stressful travel to his final destination. Trauma Free. Just a touch of a usda certified wand to his head and he goes to sleep. The other sheep don’t even notice. It’s like unplugging a tv. Then Wocka my butcher works his magic. Right now the meat is for friends, family and gifts. Soon though it may be available to my followers as we test recipes and open up to market. Gotta get some things dialed in first. I have found a new passion to add to my many others. #farmlife and jack loves it! You’ll know where to sprinkle my ashes. I’ll tell you that.

Here is a sampling of the moonbat responses Pratt received on Facebook.

Debs Sparkly Woods: “So sad to see this post. I hope you become more enlightened soon and see the pain the animals feel is a kin to our own. Till then Im unfollowing.”

Christina Marie: “Animals are just like us. They may not know how to speak English or drive a car, but they have a circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, exocrine, renal, nervous, and reproductive system. They bleed red, feel pain and joy just like us. They are not food! Food is what the animals eat. There is absolutely no reason to go through them to get the nutrients from the food they eat, which comes from the ground, not a womb.”

Amelia Russell: “Congratulations, you betrayed an innocent animal’s trust so that you could gorge on their body parts. Absolutely disgusting, it’s the same as showering a pet dog with love and affection before killing and eating them. Psychotic, shameful behaviour.”

Liv Jai: “More than 20,000 edible plant species exist on earth and millions of combinations, meals, recipes, and speciality vegan options in the store, and you STILL feel the need to kill an innocent animal for no reason other than greed. It is immoral to exploit animals, we do not need to do so to live. Stop making excuses and nearly laughable (if it wasn’t so tragic) justifications for these heinous acts.”

Liz Wallace: “Wow. Pratt you are a disgusting human. I was going to call you a pig but the thought you might want to eat yourself. One day it will occur to you the animals aren’t yours to take groom slaughter season and consume. A more enlightened and aware state is in your future. I hope you get there before too long and you can handle the realization you took something incredible that wasn’t yours.”

Pratt has yet to comment on the negative comments, which was only a small portion of the total responses.
