VERDICT: Justice Served – Marilyn Mosby Gets Her Butt Handed To Her…

Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby suffered a humiliating loss Thursday as yet another Baltimore Police officer charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray was acquitted of all charges, including murder.

Officer Caesar Goodson Jr. was driving the police van in which Gray suffered fatal injuries.

This is the third time Mosby’s team has failed to bring a conviction in the case.

If you’ll recall, Mosby was quick to seek “justice” for the death of Gray and she targeted six police officers in an attempt to calm the rioting and protests that ripped Baltimore apart in April, 2015.

“To the people of Baltimore and demonstrators across America, I heard your call for ‘no justice, no peace,’” Mosby said at a news conference last May.

Instead, it’s looking more like she was looking for scapegoats for she what sold to the public a case of police brutality against an African-American male.

Officer Goodson faced the most serious charges of all the officers charged, and when Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams found him not guilty of any of the charges, you can bet Team Mosby went into full panic mode.

The Baltimore Sun reported that Mosby simply shook her head when the judge read the verdict.

It’s not looking good for Mosby, who failed to persuade a jury to convict Officer William Porter or Officer Edward Nero in previous cases. A jury was unable to reach a verdict against Porter and he is scheduled to be retried in September.

Goodson’s acquittal means it could be difficult for Mosby to successfully prosecute any of the remaining officers involved in the case.

It also indicates that Mosby rushed to judgment when seeking justice and that her case against the officers never had any merit beyond being a sop to the race baiters and perpetually aggrieved.
