[VIDEO] Clinton staffer who set up private server has been granted immunity by the DOJ

From the Washington Post:

Hillary Clinton wrote 104 emails that she sent using her private server while secretary of state that the government has since said contain classified information, according to a new Washington Post analysis of Clinton’s publicly released correspondence.

The finding is the first accounting of the Democratic presidential front-runner’s personal role in placing information now considered sensitive into insecure email during her State Department tenure. Clinton’s authorship of dozens of emails now considered classified could complicate her efforts to argue that she never put government secrets at risk.

But wait! There’s more. The Justice Department is giving immunity to the Clinton staffer who set up her private server, which means the rumors, and rumors of rumors about a criminal investigation are most likely true and moving forward.

The defenses being put up show you how totally wrong the Clinton camp must know they are about this. In the video (at 0:48) they offer up this canard:

Clinton and the State Department say that none of the material was marked classified at the time it was sent.

So is all takes is to not mark classified information and then it’s good to send over unsecured lines of communication? I’m sure they call this “plausible deniability” but this excuse is neither plausible nor deniable.

Then, there are laughable excuses like this one:

Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said the large number of people who sent and received emails that were declared classified was a sign of “overclassification run amok, and indicates that our system for determining what ought to be classified is broken.”

Maybe that’s true for some of the emails, but if that were the entire case then investigations wouldn’t be turing up emails that either need to be redacted, or withheld from public view entirely, as they have been.

Bernie Sanders and Democrats like to minimize this with quips about not caring about her “damn emails” as if her inbox and outbox are filled with memes and forward chain letters, and offers of riches to be bestowed upon her from Nigerian princes who haven’t been acquainted with the Clinton Foundation.

If your concern for the future of how we choose our leaders was as deep as a shot glass you might be right, but Bill’s problem with Monica Lewinsky was as much about “just sex” as this is about “just emails.”

National Review had a piece last fall, before the (not so surprising) revelation that the emails have been a national security shooting gallery for our adversaries, about how completely dependent Hillary is on others to do even the most menial and basic of tasks for herself. While the consequences of this are nefarious the intention probably was not. Hillary Clinton is a monarch in her own mind, she doesn’t care about the rules because she has spent decades living above them. That combined with a stunning ignorance of how to live a life where she can do simple tasks on her own are what created this mess.

Per the National Review piece, she can’t even figure out how to find the times for a television show. She would obviously not want to be bored with the details of the security problems surrounding setting up a private, unsecured server, and anyone who would want to regale her on the topic would be dusting off their resume in the next breath.

This scandal (to put it mildly) isn’t about emails because the implications run much deeper. This is (hopefully) the smoking gun of truth that has followed decades of attacks on Hillary Clinton that have been written off as partisan and part of a “right-wing conspiracy.” If one wanted to be nice, one would conclude that she is too reckless and arrogant to be president of her own fan club, much less the country. This truth has become so hard to ignore that her staffers are getting immunity, a harbinger of long overdue criminal charges.

Judge Napolitano: Former State IT Staffer Is Hillary Clinton’s ‘Nightmare’

NAPOLITANO: How he was able to migrate a State Department secure system onto her private server. Question: Mr. Pagliano, did Mrs. Clinton give you her personal Secretary of State password to enable you to do that? If the answer is yes, we have an indictment for misconduct in office as well as espionage.

So what does this mean for Hillary Clinton?

NAPOLITANO: She should be terrified of the fact that he’s been granted immunity. Only a federal judge can grant immunity. A federal judge will only grant immunity if a sitting jury is ready to hear testimony from the immunized person. So we know a couple things: We know the recommendation we were waiting for from the FBI to the Justice Department has already made its way from the FBI to the Justice Department. We know FBI agents and Justice Department prosecutors are working in tandem. We know that they went through this lengthy process of interviewing Mr. Pagliano and finding out what he knows and deciding it’s so valuable, they need him to say it to a grand jury. And the only way he can say it to a grand jury is if they promise not to prosecute him and hence he gets immunity. And we also know they’re going to seek someone’s indictment because they would not be immunizing him and thereby inducing him to spill his guts unless they wanted to indict someone.

The Clinton camp is reportedly pleased Pagliano is cooperating.

CLINTON PRESS SEC. BRIAN FALLON: She’s encouraged everyone to cooperate because we want to make every good-faith effort to be transparent and answer any questions people have. With Mr. Pagliano, we encouraged him as well because we don’t think he has any reason to not be transparent.

NAPOLITANO: They are out of their minds. That is a response written by their political people and not by their legal people. Mr. Pagliano is their nightmare.

That sad reality is nothing compared to the one where Democrats don’t even care about any of this stuff, and she still might be elected president.

They have an “it’s us against them” mentality instead of doing what’s right by vetting the choices for candidates. Just look at the difference in the scrutiny Conservatives are giving their candidates. If lies or deception are found, we make it well known by hammering them for truth and accountability.

Not all Democrats (the smart ones) are this way though. 100s of thousands have changed over to Republican and/or Independents during this election season and for good reason. Hillary Clinton & Bernie Sanders are about as bad as it gets. One is well known for being an untrustworthy liar with no real accomplishments and the other is an old Socialist curmudgeon that will raise their taxes.

Will Pagliano’s testimony be enough to sink Hillary Clinton? If you are voting Democrat, are you concerned she may face criminal prosecution? Share and comment below.
