BREAKING: UC Berkely Just Got HORRIBLE News- Check Out What’s Happening To Their…

Berkeley defunded

Breitbart editors and Milo Yiannopolous are being accused of taking a page out of the alt-left playbook by framing “innocent” Berkeley protesters as rioters. The riots resulted in Yiannopolous’ on-campus speech being cancelled. Various alt-leftists are now accusing the two of trying to get Berkeley defunded.

Welcome to America, where snowflakes are born and bred.

Robert Reich lists himself on a Berkeley blog as a “professor of public policy.” He authored an article complete with a paranoid theory of how the riot was staged by Breitbart and Yiannopolous. His comments completely ignore a similar outcome at UC Davis a few weeks prior to this talk.

Remember the good old days, when rioters actually took credit for their rioting? They would scream about getting back at “The Man” or something. Now, we get typical alt-left whining. Never taking responsibility for a negative outcome is a particular skill set of the Alt-Left.

In his article, also conveniently ignores Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin’s pre-riot tweet, “Using speech to silence marginalized communities and promote bigotry is unacceptable. Hate speech isn’t welcome in our community.” Arreguin also allegedly ordered police to stand down during the “protest.” Given there was only one arrest despite $100K in damages and multiple televised attacks, this appears to be true.

Berkeley, once credited with being the birth place of free speech, is now the leader in suppressing free speech.

Now, Berkeley is attacking Breitbart for voicing the opinion that taxpayers should not fund an institution that restricts free speech and censor independent thought. That is not a winning side for Berkeley to be on.

In the wake of public outcry, Mayor Arreguin then attempted to place the blame on the right, echoing his Berkeley professors’ paranoia. “Unfortunately, last night, a small minority of the protesters who had assembled in opposition to a speaking engagement featuring a prominent white nationalist engaged in violence and property damage. They also provided the ultra-nationalist far right exactly the images they want to use to try to discredit the vast majority of peaceful protesters in Berkeley and across America who are deeply concerned about where our country is headed,” Arreguin said.

Berkeley administrators allowed massive protests to take place, that then erupted in violence. This is the second UC school to allow such behavior. There was no public decrying of the violence or the attacks on unarmed men and women. The only thing that really got anyone’s attention at Berkeley was the threat of losing money. Which is exactly why Breitbart suggested getting Berkeley defunded.

The purposeful lack of police, the pre-riot egging-on by the city’s “leaders” all had a specific purpose. Lip service later weakly defending the behavior with paranoid theories is just that, lip service.

Berkeley, the city and the university, both wanted to violence to erupt. Like any bully, the goal was to intimidate and instill fear. The desired outcome, oppose and suppress any dissenting opinions.

You know, like Nazi Germany. Like the Middle East…And now like America.
